Posted on April 13th, 2017

In May, the go via network is proudly supporting two fantastic Brisbane Charity events, the Great Brisbane Bike Ride and the Mother’s Day Classic.

The Great Brisbane Bike Ride, (including the Coot-tha Challenge), will be held on Sunday 7 May and is the feature event of Bike Week, an annual week-long celebration of cycling in Brisbane, and a once-a-year chance to ride on a traffic-free Inner City Bypass.

Now in its 10th year, the event will raise funds to help Diabetes Queensland continue to provide much-needed support, research and education about the condition.

go via network will provide riders with exclusive access to the Sir Leo Hielscher Bridge bike path and close ramps on the Clem7 and Legacy Way to allow for the closure of the Inner City Bypass.

For the fourth consecutive year, the go via network is proudly supporting the Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday 14 May.

go via network will provide access to the Go Between Bridge for the run, enabling more than 10,000 participants to run or walk on the bridge for this worthy cause.

Since it was first founded in 1998, the Mother’s Day Classic has raised $30.4 million for the National Breast Cancer Foundation research programs. The event sees thousands of families, teams and men and women come together to walk or run for breast cancer research and to show their respect for those affect by breast cancer, contributing to the lasting impact the event has had on breast cancer research in Australia.
